The Details

  • To begin, please call, text, or email to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. If I am not available to answer your call immediately, it is because I am in a session. I will do my best to get back to you within 24 hours of your initial inquiry.

  • I accept several major insurance plans, and your copay will vary depending on your specific plan's benefits. We will verify your insurance coverage and discuss your copay and any associated fees during the initial consultation.

  • For those who are not using insurance, my fees are as follows:

    • 55 minute session: 180

    • 3 hour couples or individual intensive session: 625

For out-of-network insurance plans, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. In this case, payment is due at the time of service, and you will receive the superbill to file with your provider.

Payment is due at the time of service and is processed through our platform via credit card, health savings account, Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle.

  • The time scheduled for your appointment is reserved for you. I require at least 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. If you cancel, miss an appointment, or ask to reschedule on the same day, you will be responsible for paying a late fee of $100. Please note that insurance does not cover late cancellations or missed appointments

  • We meet once a week for a 55 minute session or for a 3 hour intensive session if that’s a better fit. Depending on your needs, we may be able to meet more or less often. I offer a variety of days and limited weekend and evening availability. Once you are enrolled and a client in my system we will schedule future sessions together and meet via a HIPAA compliant tele-health link.

  • My practice currently operates online with an in-person option available at a later time. Telehealth is currently offered to residents of California. Clients must be physically located in California at the time of service in order to engage in telehealth. We will meet virtually using a HIPAA-compliant secure online platform.

  • A Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is a mental health professional who provides counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Their role is centered on helping people improve their mental and emotional well-being and navigate life's challenges. The "clinical" in the title "Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor" (LPCC) is significant, as it distinguishes them from other counselors who may not be authorized to diagnose and treat mental illness. The specific scope of practice and licensing requirements for LPCCs can vary by state, but they generally require a master's degree in counseling, extensive supervised clinical experience, and the passing of a state and/or national examination and have similar requirements to a LCSW, and LMFT.

  • During our first therapy session, I’ll gather information about your symptoms, collaborate with you on goals for treatment, and ask you questions about what you want to get out of therapy. For example, if you were getting what you wanted out of our therapy sessions, what would your life look like in 3 months? In 6 months? What would your life look like on the outside if our goals in treatment were met?

  • The information below pertains to The No Surprises Health Service Act (2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, January 2022):

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. In regard to therapy at 4 Wellness Counseling, this includes psychotherapy services.

Note that you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your treatment will cost. Under the law, all health care providers need to provide their patients an estimate of their bill for services – if their patients don’t have insurance or will not be using insurance.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any of your services.

Your therapist is expected to give you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your therapy begins.

You can also ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. (If you receive a bill that is $400 more than the Good Faith Estimate you received, you can dispute the bill).

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
